Summer officially ends on September 22nd but you'd never know it by looking outside. Calgary, amongst other places in Alberta, has been hammered by two days of heavy, wet snow and it's pretty depressing. Not only is it a tough mental adjustment for us poor saps who are living here and dealing with it all but the trees are still in full leaf and the weight of the snow has been wreaking havoc. Tons of tree branches snapped off and power lines down and it's not over yet.

One of my neighbours had a tree bough land on her house. |

The back yard, just before the tree branches started to bend and snap |

It was fun stuff for some :) |

Let's hope that the falling branches don't get any bigger than this, but I am doubtful |

Driving was a joy! |

The Calgary Sun captured this photo, which explains a lot of the problems we're having |
