What a beautiful day and way too nice to be cooped up in the office, so I went on a little road trip to visit the good folks at Too Cool Motorcycle School. In case you don't know already, Trevor Dach and his crew run a top notch motorcycle training course on the grounds at McMahon Stadium.
With a few trailers full of bikes and gear, Too Cool sets up shop in a cordoned area of the lot, away from any traffic, and runs students through a variety of riding drills and exercises. Some are riders looking to brush up on their skills but most are brand new to this mode of transport and it was great to meet a few last night.
How great to meet the father and son duo who had signed up as a way to learn and to have some quality time together.
And, little did they know until then but their enrolment in a certified training course puts them into a driving record bracket that makes insuring a "new" bike quite reasonable.
Look for more posts on Too Cool later, when Trevor, Rene and the rest of the trainers put on a little skills demo and heat up the track.
