The
Blue Circle crew had a social night, with a visit to the
Telus 'Spark' Science Centre for
Adult's Night. As the name implies, it's adults only and the various themes and topics are thusly related. They still have the usual exhibits and interactive displays but also added in elements relating to the theme of that particular evening. Ours was "Life and Death" and including 'death defying' acrobatics with
Calgary Circus Studio, dissection of a heart with the
Libin Cardiovascular Institute, organ, tissue and eye donation with
Alberta Health Services and also information about palliative care and living will planning with the
AHS, as well as many other topics.
It was an interesting and unusual outing and the consensus was that we all had a great time. The next adults only theme is titled "Carl Sagan", so check it out! I'm sure there will be "billions upon billions" of things to keep you amazed!
