We took a short little backroads ride south west of the city and down into the Black Diamond area. Though we saw quite a few bikes on the main roads, once we got onto some smaller, secondary highways we pretty much had it all to ourselves and meandered along, stopping to admire the views and snap a few photos. Eventually we got down near Black Diamond and stopped in at the B.D. Hotel for one of their X-Treme burgers. Awesome enough to make me think we need to include them on a future 'Burger Ride Map'!!
The ride down was so nice that we opted to return home the same way and did it all again in reverse. What a great way to spend a Sunday and we're hoping that the weather stays like this for a while yet and we can get out for a few more rides before the cold stuff arrives and we get snow. At least another 3 weeks before the happens...fingers crossed!
