Team Zeus

Sanjay and I went over to the University of Calgary and met the enthusiastic and energetic members of Team Zeus this afternoon. The team is a group of students from the Schulich School of Engineering and the Haskayne School of Business, who are looking to learn valuable technical skills in a 'real world' environment, all while contributing to the 'green' cause.
Team Zeus first started with 'The Mule', an electric motorcycle they built using a donated bike and working with minimal funds. Check out my blog post from yesterday to get further details. Though there is a Phase Two with that project, the team got involved in a more ambitious endeavour and are currently working on the 'Zephyr'.
'Zephyr' is the Greek god of wind and that's who this modified GSX will be emulating, blasting around the track as it competes in the TTXGP, the premiere electric race series. Now that I've met the team I'm hooked and will be following their progress and posting updates as they build toward the future!
