2013 Ride For Dad

This year's "Ride For Dad" was the biggest yet, with 637 registered riders. A great turnout for a well organized ride, with a great group of people who dedicated their time and energy to making it all work. Special kudos to Rick Brown, Ron Parkinson, Steve Adair,  and all the other board members who put their hearts and souls into the event. Many, many other volunteers and the Calgary Police Service made for a great day and successful campaign for such a worthy cause.
Considering that Prostate Cancer affects 1 in every 6 men in Canada, it's great to know that so many people care enough to come out and support the effort and help raise awareness!

Getting lined up.

The parking lot is getting full

Thank you to Deerfoot Mall for hosting the staging area

Fly your flag proudly
Melisia and Brian both rode with the group.
Over 600 participants in this year's ride makes for a lot of iron.
Nothing but bikes on The Deerhoof
As far as you can see!

That's B.B. parked on the shoulder!

A small fan cheers on the bikers while she watches for her brother, who was riding passenger!
