Banff Jasper Relay

Two National Parks. 258 km. 15 runners. The Banff Jasper Relay is just what it sounds like! Run from Banff (Castle Mtn.) to Jasper, with 15 team mates tagging off along the way, all the while enjoying some amazing scenery as inspiration, along with some camaraderie. I'll let the pictures do the talking, and when you see the old goat with his white beard, you'll know you found me!! haha!

On route from Lake Louise to our starting point, as the sun sets on the Rockies.

Weather is always a concern when at altitude.

And their off!!

Our team captain, Steve, took on the Big Bend...15.7 km with 404 metres of vertical gain

Talk about inspiring!

Who's that beauty, outside Beauty Creek?

Thank you Muscle Milk, for fueling our engines!

Lesley has energy in reserve, even after 15 km

My little stretch of road..19.1 km.

Saw a bear...Papa Bear!! Inspiration from my beautiful daughter and team mate!!

And the real bear, who sauntered across the road!
